    Pros

    Great studio! Small but smart.
    Everyone is friendly and positive.
If you are a self-driven person, this place is perfect for you.
Great benefit package and wellbeing caring.

    Cons

Bench time, need a better plan/structure about making potential internal projects

"Revolving Door at the leadership level"

I have been working at ustwo full-time

    Pros

Very little overtime and pleasant co-workers.

    Cons

So much change of the group of 5 or so in the leadership position in the studio I worked in. Values/principles that were initially in place get misconstrued, forgotten about and outright ignored, in order to win over a client.
Way to much focus on delivery, pleasing the client and trying to get out of the red - that their original selling point of user-centered design has gone out the window.

    Advice to Management

Decide if you want to be an actual design studio or a production company for silicon valley. Honestly its just getting confusing.

    Cons

It's taken a long time for the company to mature and still dealing with the repercussions of some immature leadership decisions.

    I worked at ustwo full-time

    Pros

Really great people, benefits, work/life balance, etc. Plus the chance to do work for some very big name brands.

    Cons

Disorganized and lacked design leadership. Spent a lot of time on the bench.

    Advice to Management

Implement a more rigorous design process so that the quality of work remains consistent and designers enjoy the projects their on.

    Pros

Talented employees, fantastic office environment, interesting client / projects, truly collaborative, transparent culture, diversity

    Cons

Each employee must take initiative for the career development personally. While there is framework to support, this place is great only for those with self-motivated people.

    Pros

I had the chance to do a six week contract job with ustwo in the fall last year (2014). As soon as I walked through the door, I felt the extremely strong sense of cohesiveness amongst everyone there. The minimal level of hierarchy made me feel like I had equal control over the project and I had as much face time with the client as everyone else, which was an awesome feeling as a contractor; they very much respected my work and opinion and treated me as if I was one of their own.

I was spoiled with free coffee, donuts, beer, lunch, snacks and candy. They had incredible speakers come in weekly. Many people from the other international offices were there constantly and everyone was always making sure all the employees were happy and comfortable.

They even let me sit in on the larger company meetings and were happy to hear my point of view on how to improve the already incredibly impressive work they were putting out.

The feedback I received was also spot on and very constructive.

    Cons

The New York office is still putting a ton of effort into making ustwo one of the best companies to work for in the history of working for companies, so there were A LOT of meetings. That said, they were for the betterment of the company, so hard to call this a con.

I can't think of anything else as a con. Wonderful place to work.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    Pros

Truly care about people, progressive with benefits such as paternity leave, will adjust for individual needs. High energy work and overall positive environment. Pay employees and have a good recruitment process.

    Cons

Quality of work varies greatly which is mainly due to clients. Sometimes growing pains as studio quickly evolves with people joining / leaving.

    Advice to Management

    Less cool aid
