I worked at white arrow full-time

    Pros

New Tractors and semi new trailers. Sorry can't think of anything else?

    Cons

Pay, health benefits real expensive. They don't pay overtime, and they expect you to do ( 14 ) hour days + everyday. This so call company that says they take care of there drivers is just a front to get you in the door. There turnaround rate of drivers and office staff is amazing. They expect you to sit in this tractor during summer time heat 100 + degrees and not use the AC. They pay $24.00 an hour to drive! Sounds good!! But no, it's only when you are driving. The rest of you're hard earn money is sitting waiting to get loaded at $ 12.00 an hour. I'm not BS! See for you're self?

    Advice to Management

Management does not last due to White Arrow not paying management rite. Terminal Managers are just Dispatchers. They hire young kids with no experience due to them molding them to there ways. Remember experience cost, it's not cheap.

I have been working at white arrow full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company is perfect if you are looking for a career in transportation, not just a job. They promote from within. I've been here two years and have been promoted twice. Management encourages you to critically think and form your own work ethic. They expect you to be a smart human, not a robot. They are very helpful and understanding. They even emailed us some great links to teach people how to manage their money! They give great advice, all you have to do is ask. The HR department that is available to answer questions.
    They value respect.

    Cons

Supervisors can use more training, but management is amazing. Everything else is great. They have a solid structure.

    Advice to Management

Good job, I would keep going the way you are going. You guys are growing and will continue to grow.

    Pros

My interview process was pleasant. I felt well informed and the process was brisk. The on-boarding/orientation process was newly re-vamped and I found it to be well organized and engaging.

    Cons

Improve operations through assessing and implementation of new strategies.

    Advice to Management

Continuous improvement. There are already many "new" initiatives identified as ways to improve company communication and culture.

I worked at white arrow full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay if you have experience. Company is at the citAdel you can shop during your lunch break!

    Cons

No work life balance . No raises . No bonuses over worked . Poor management

    Advice to Management

Work on actually investing in your people . Offer actual re training for the current management who in any other companies would not be managers due to their unprofessional manner of treating their subordinates.
