Recently got promoted and got a 10% raise. Yet, I still make barely more than people who are a level lower and joined the firm less than a year after I did. From a financial perspective it truly doesn’t make sense to stay with a firm beyond 2/3 years anymore. I am in industry FWIW.

If you are unhappy with your total comp right now... we need to chat! I've helped 10 people this year increase their salary by over $20K! One of my clients increased their salary by over $75K! I've got 3 open spots! I'm a senior manager at Amazon and have interviewed, mentored, and coached hundreds of people. Earlier this year I opened up my own consulting and coaching firm. Send me a DM and we can set up a free call. I'll talk you through my process and see if I am a good fit for your goals!

Hi everyone. I'd like to get your thoughts on whether I'm overthinking this. I recently completed an interview with a hiring manager for a new position outside of Amazon. After my interview, I looked up the interviewer on LinkedIn (I didn't know their name before the interview) and discovered that they have around 4 years less work experience than me. Aside from that, the job duties and compensation match my expectations. Do you see any concerns about this? Thanks

I will be completing my first year at Amazon next week so I will be having my first Forte (not scheduled yet). For what I’ve been reading, people are not too excited about this year’s compensation… what should I expect? Also, when is the Forte review usually done? TY

L5 Area manager who has been with amazon for a year and a half. I missed out on 1st April yearly raise due to “missing the cut off by 6 weeks” - didn’t get a base raise or more stocks granted. If I got top tier from OLRs and get a promotion in April should I expect much of a raise? I’m already at the top of the pay band for AM L5. My year two sign on bonus ends in July. Trying to gauge so I can try and negotiate if I get low balled. Amazon
