I’ve been working in healthcare for 14 years- the majority of it is ER experience and I am strongly considering learning a new skillset such as Vascular Technologist. I am a single mom with little to no support and would love to work a Monday-Friday job with no weekends or holidays so that I can explore having more of a work-life integration and be with my baby girls. Moreover, I would also like to increase my salary as well. Any suggestions….?

Hello, I am in the process of asking for a raise. Is anyone on here a CHT ( certified hand therapist) ? The survey on annual salary for CHTs always depresses me as I am not even in the low category for pay and have been practicing for 14 years and CHT for 5 years. Can I ask what do you think is typical pay for occupational therapist in the setting? I make 37 (rounded up :p) per hour.

Exit plan bonus?! Is it a thing?! I want it to be. Is it career suicide to ask for a large bonus to NOT quit and stay on board long enough to train the next manager? I am In a very challenging role with many licenses so this could take 90+ days. I care about the operation, so I do not want it to fail when I leave. But, I also value my mental health 🤣 comment if you have any insight or experience!
