Lowe Salaries

Is this wrong? So I work in lower management, but still considered a supervisor at Lowes. They recently put out a job opportunity moving up to be a “Staffing and Scheduling Admin” I applied for it and got interviewed, 3 other people that I know of got interviewed as well. My SM told me he would let us know by the end of the week. It never happened, and when I went to check the application status, the job position was reopened online for other applicants to apply. Do I have a right to feel upset?

I work at Lowe’s in upstate NY as a regular floor associate, I work in 2 different departments and drive all the power equipment when needed. Just wondering how much other people are paid per hour with similar qualifications etc. I make 16/hr

I am struggling to fight off depression over my internal job search. There is no real opportunity for advancement in my immediate department/current job. There’s plenty of opportunity otherwise, and opportunities for which I am well qualified, but getting recruiters to take notice seems to be another story. There is no capability to impress through your work and seek advancement based on achievement, work ethic, capabilities…. I guess it is time to leave Lowe’s
