- Start-up job with very modest total comp (inc. equity at 2021 bubble valuation), possibility for progression in a few years if the company doesn't go under - Corporate gig with better salary, very limited room for getting a nicer title down the road Which would be a better option in terms of maximizing long-term income? I think I would be able to get some useful, although more specialized experience in the corpo, although no shot at a "senior"-title, no matter what I would do.

I've recently received an offer for a Software Engineer role with Microsoft in Costa Rica, and it's a work-from-home position. The offered salary is 27 million colones per year.
