During the month of September, AAA Associates took the initiative to be more active at work. There are immeasurable benefits to regular stretching, including stress relief, physical health, and creating a more positive work environment. Associates were encouraged to get together twice a day for a quick stretch session, and we were pleased to hear that our Associates felt more alert, productive, and healthier after stretching! AAA is proud to facilitate a healthy and happy workplace for all of our Associates!
August 8th was the first AAA Day of Citizenship, the culmination of this year’s Education Campaign. Volunteers gathered to pack school supplies and teacher appreciation kits at numerous locations, including all Stores, Contact Centers, Fleet locations, and Administrative locations! Volunteers then gathered to coordinate the delivery of collections to their local designated schools. We are proud to have participating in this group effort to show teachers and students alike just how much we appreciate them!

AAA Club Alliance = Always Delivering Value
WE'RE IN THE MONEY! During the Buzz Session in March, the outgoing CEO, Berni announced a one-time Special Recognition Award for all Associates. This bonus takes advantage of the new tax laws and passes the benefit down to all Associates in acknowledgment of the team's hard work in the service of our Members last year. The one-time award will reward Associates for delivering value during a challenging year. Associates will receive an amount between $200.00 - $1,000.00 depending on their years of service with the Organization. The award is in addition to other performance based incentives, making for a lucrative spring for Associates.
The new month brings a new leader to the helm of AAA Club Alliance. On June 1, Tom Wiedemann officially assumed the role of ACA CEO. Tom recently weighed in on his leadership style. "We have 5,000 people with ideas, thoughts, and ways to make our company better. It is critical for us to be able to capture that and synergize it. I want our company to have transparency, engagement, and a team-first atmosphere. You will see that while I will have to make decisions regarding our organization's strategy, I believe that 5,000 heads are better than one. So from a style perspective, I think inclusion is what is going to make us great in the long run."
