  • Anadarko hosted an Anadarko Astros Day and book drive benefiting the Houston Astros Foundation. The event included an Astros Post Season chat with AJ Hinch, Milton Carroll and Jim Crane sharing lessons on leadership, perseverance, and even advanced analytics. Employees also took some swings in batting cages, tested their arm strength and accuracy, and ate some amazing barbecue. After the event, Anadarko donated five batting cages, pitching machines and other baseball equipment to the South Montgomery Girls Softball League and the Oak Ridge Woodlands Area Little League organizations.

Anadarko is committed to helping to close the gap in STEM education and ensuring that students learn about the variety of careers possible in the Oil and Natural Gas industry. Since 2014, Anadarko employees have dedicated time to Mead High School’s Energy Academy in Mead, Colo., where they share information, support students and help them learn about the different forms of energy development.

    Laying the Groundwork for America's Energy Future

For decades, the oil and natural gas industry has served as one of Colorado's strongest economic engines.

  • If you saw a sea of blue shirts in Northeastern Utah, then you spotted 25 Anadarko employees suited up to support the Special Olympics Bocce Ball competition for the fourth year. Our volunteers helped judge the competition of 60 athletes, among other duties. APC donated a combined total of 200 man hours of assistance to the project. We thank you for your participation!

  • Thank you to all the ladies who attended the Women’s Energy Network and Mile High United Way breakfast, featuring Lt. Governor Donna Lynne.
    She joined us, along with a panel of not-for-profit leaders to discuss how
    professional women can make a positive impact on community through charitable engagement. The panel discussed affordable housing, social enterprise, healthcare and how their organizations provide services to families in need. It was a full house with 150 women showing up at Anadarko’s Denver office!

  • DJ Basin VP of Operations, Craig Walters, manned the Red Cross phones along with Business Advisor Mark Koehn yesterday. As part of the ongoing efforts to respond to Hurricane Harvey, the American Red Cross partnered with Teletech in Englewood, CO to host a call-in, on-air telethon. It is incredible to see the outpouring of support and compassion being sent to our friends, family and co-workers in Houston. Thank you!
