Last month, the Apogee finance team included a Charity Bike Build event as part of its annual conference. The group broke into teams to assemble 12 bikes, which were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Minneapolis.
Apogee safety culture scorecard teams visit plants and jobsites across the country to identify potential safety hazards and provide tips to improve employee safety awareness and behavior. This month one of the teams was at One Light Street, a Harmon jobsite in Baltimore.
Last week, HR team members from across our business units joined us in Minneapolis for an All-HR meeting. The meeting consisted of discussion surrounding strategy and best practices, in addition to team building exercises that included a night of friendly cooking competition at a local cooking school. Employees enjoyed meeting colleagues, gaining insight and having fun!
It was a heads-down packing operation at our headquarters yesterday! Employees packed over 500 sandwiches that will be distributed to the local homeless community.
