    CBS Interactive operates as the digital arm of the greater CBS Corporation by using advanced media products to run an online content network that dives into subjects people care about most.

  • A huge congratulations are in order for the EVP of Original Content at CBS All Access, Julie McNamara. Julie was awarded a spot on the prestigious Hollywood Reporter’s 2018 Women in Entertainment Power 100 list, along with Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey & Shonda Rhimes.

  • On Tuesday, December 4th, our Fort Lauderdale office hosted a WomenHack Networking event, promoting diversity and inclusion for women in technology, in the greater South Florida area. A big thanks to all those who attended, we can't wait to see everyone at the next event!

  • 'We Need To Talk', the first nationally televised all-female sports talk show on CBS Sports, recently partnered with the female empowerment initiative, CBS Eye Speak, and the #seeher program, for an epic networking event. These programs are striving to eliminate bias against women in ads and media. The event was hosted by the show's talent and producers, giving attendees an inside glimpse into a show taping, as well as a panel discussion.

  • Giving is way better than receiving, which is why the CBSi Cares team is teaming up with Home Instead Senior Care. Employees will be paired up with seniors in their community who would otherwise not receive gifts this holiday season.

    Be a Santa to a Senior

    Home Instead Senior Care partners with local non-profit and community organizations to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. The company then works with local businesses and retail stores to help facilitate the purchase and distribution of gifts by placing trees and ornaments within their various locations.

  • CBS Interactive's CEO, Jim Lanzone, appeared on the Digiday Podcast to discuss everything from capitalizing on OTT to relying less on advertising, and the future for all things digital.

    Digital-only media brands with millions of dollars in venture capital funding have gotten a lot of attention. However, slowly but surely, they're hitting a wall. And CBS is capitalizing. "One reason why [the VC- funded, digital-only media companies] got the attention they got is because they were new and they were creating great content," said Jim Lanzone, CEO and President of CBS Interactive.

    Washington's high-profile work involves everything from policing Beyonce's trademarks to handling #MeToo investigations and lawsuits for companies including ICM and Miramax. The Harvard basketball star went to Georgetown Law instead of the WNBA, which gave her an intellectual outlet for her competitive streak. "My dad is a defense attorney," she says.
