    Elevating The Endpoint Carbonite and Webroot are forging ahead as one organization focused on providing resilience around the endpoint through upfront protection and robust backup and disaster recovery. Even though Carbonite's $621.7 million acquisition of Webroot closed on March. 26, the integration process is still very much underway across both the technical and sales organizations.

    Boston, MA, July 1, 2019 - Carbonite, Inc. (NASDAQ: CARB), a global leader in data protection and cybersecurity, today announced the appointment of Craig Stilwell as the company's chief revenue officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Stilwell will lead the company's combined global sales and marketing organization, reporting to Carbonite president and CEO, Mohamad Ali.

    Carbonite Closes Webroot Acquisition; Emphasizes SMB Channel Partners - ChannelE2E

    Carbonite has completed the $618.5 million Webroot acquisition, and an MSP-friendly business strategy is expected to extend from security to data protection for the SMB market, according to ChannelE2E's ongoing coverage of the deal. Webroot CFO John Post shifts to senior VP and GM of the security business, reporting to Carbonite President and CEO Mohamad Ali.
