Lea Sims is a Managing Director on the Digital Banking Solutions team based out of Austin, Texas. We caught up with her to learn more about her path to leadership in financial services and technology-industries where women have historically been underrepresented. What do you do at Schwab?

Creating a sense of community is one of the many ways that Schwab builds a more inclusive, collaborative work environment. As a company that's committed to empowering the success of our diverse employee pool, we offer an array of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) designed to support the professional development and personal wellness of individuals within our organization.

I have been at Schwab for around nine years and started out as a content strategist on the marketing side, with our creative agency. I've had the ability to reinvent myself many times at Schwab since then, which is one of my favorite things about working at this firm - there's advancement opportunity everywhere.

We love the diversity of past career experiences that employees bring with them to Schwab. It's these experiences that bring different ways of thinking and can spark new ideas.
