"Be your own advocate and learn as much as you can." That’s the motto of Denise Channey, a DENSO team member in #BattleCreekMI. For 24 years Denise has been an inspiration for many, starting on the production floor and now training others at our technical training center. And she’s not stopping there – as a co-chair of our DENSO Black Resource Group and re-enrolled in college courses, we’re excited to see what she accomplishes next. A priority of the DENSO Women's Network is cultivating interest in #STEM careers among young women in #WestMichigan. 🔬 🧪 Rachel Shalloway and Sara Rodriguez, from DENSO in #BattleCreekMI, attended the Corporate Engineering Challenge to spend time with the prospective STEM students during various science-based challenges and activities. Events like this make us so proud to support activities that inspire more women to pursue studies and careers in STEM!
The key is to never give up ✨ And Andrew Saltzman, a team member at our #BattleCreekMI facility, never did. In it, he makes the case that strategies adopted by automotive companies to rapidly produce medical equipment will be just as important to succeeding in our new era of mobility.
