Caki Halprin, Head of North America Marketing & Innovation discusses women's empowerment at Godiva on ChedHER
John Galloway has been named chief marketing and innovation officer for Godiva Chocolatier, effective Oct. 22. In this role, he will be tasked with leading Godiva’s global marketing and innovation team and will join the company’s global executive committee.
For the past eight years, Mr. Galloway has been chief marketing officer for Hard Rock International, operator of Hard Rock Café, Hard Rock Hotel and Hard Rock Casino. Before that, he spent 13 years with PepsiCo, Inc. in various leadership roles, including vice-president of marketing for the Gatorade brand, vice-president and general manager of the IZZE Beverage business, vice-president of sports and media, director of sports marketing, director of flavors and senior manager of the Mountain Dew brand.

Godiva Chocolatier, the global leader in premium chocolate, announced today the appointment of Virginie Costa as its Chief Financial Officer, effective August 6. She will be responsible for leading the brand’s Global Finance team and join the business’ Global Executive Committee.
Costa joins Godiva with 20 years of Financial and Operational experience, with a deep focus in the consumer experience. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial & Operations Officer for Burberry Americas where she led finance, customer operations, technology, legal and other functions. Virginie has been instrumental in many high-profile transformation programs that improved Burberry’s overall performance.

GODIVA Chocolatier, the global leader in premium chocolate, has announced the appointment of Phil Crawford as its Chief Technology Officer, effective June 4. He will be responsible for leading the brand’s integrated technology and digital innovation efforts and join the Company’s Global Executive Committee.
Crawford joins GODIVA with 15 years of information technology experience and a deep focus in the hospitality and restaurant industries. Most recently, he served as Head of Technology at Shake Shack where he led the digital and technology efforts behind the customer experience. Crawford also architected and implemented many of the company's core enterprise systems and consumer technology platforms.
Crawford has a wealth of IT expertise in building high-performing technology teams - both in digital and infrastructure - and creating unique customer experiences. His previous accomplishments include building information technology teams and serving as a digital ambassador in his role as Chief Technology Officer at both My Fit Foods and Yard House Restaurants.

Sharon Leite appointed as Godiva's new Managing Director, North America as of Oct 2, 2017.
Sharon joins Godiva with more than 25 years of leadership experience across retail, ecommerce, and real estate management, most recently as president, Sally Beauty North America, where she was responsible for the company's over 3000 retail locations. Prior to this role she held senior roles at Disney, Bath & Body Works, Gap, and Pier 1 imports.
Sharon is a seasoned retail leader with experience building great teams, brands, and driving profitable sales growth through operational excellence. She is a highly collaborative leader who is dedicated to building a performance driven culture that is consumer-centric. Passionate about the retail industry, she is a founding member of the Store Operations Council, a worldwide professional organization for store operations executives, and sits on the board of The Retail Analytics Council.
Annie Young-Scrivner appointed as Godiva's new CEO as of Sept 14, 2017.
Annie joins Godiva from Starbucks where she served as Global CMO, Starbucks Coffee Company & President, Tazo Tea, and previously she was the President of its Canada business. Annie also served as President of Teavana Teas. During her Starbucks tenure, Annie developed great teams, refreshed the brand for innovation and multi-channel growth and drove Starbucks to lead in social media, digital media and loyalty. While Annie was President of Teavana, tea became the fastest growing beverage business across the globe. Previously, Annie spent 20 years in senior leadership and general management roles at PepsiCo and as President and Chairman of PepsiCo Food in China, her team delivered double digit growth.
Annie will bring to Godiva her deep understanding of digital connection with consumers combined with her proven track record in delivering strong performance and innovation for fast growth retail brands.
