In 2020, we announced that HubSpot was going to shift to a hybrid company model. One where people can do their best work. As part of that, we decided to ask HubSpotters at the beginning of each year to choose their work preference based on three options: @office, @flex, @home. Here's what they selected. To read more about how we're building a hybrid company and what we learned from our future of work selection data, check out the article below from our Chief People Officer.
To support Black communities and businesses, we need to walk the walk — not just talk the talk. Today, we are making progress by committing $20 million to social impact investing. Our first investment will be $12.5 million in the Black Economic Development Fund. This will provide capital to Black-led banks, institutions, and businesses, and expand economic opportunity in the communities they serve.
Our co-founder & CTO Dharmesh Shah first published the Culture Code in 2013. The 128-slide deck captures how we work, what we value, and who we aspire to be. Since sharing it with the world, the deck has gotten over 5M views and has become core to our DNA and alignment at HubSpot. We think of culture as a product weâre building, though, and products need to be iterated over overtime... Our culture has grown a lot over the past few years thanks to our employees and our customers. Thatâs why weâre excited to share version 33 of the HubSpot Culture Code to reflect who we are as an organization today. (Yes, itâs been updated 33 times to date based on employee feedback and ideas. Iteration isnât something we take lightly!) Visit www.CultureCode.com to view the new (and improved) deck. We hope it provides transparency into how weâre building a culture where people can do their best work.
For years it's been said that the future of work is remote. But is this year really the future we were envisioning? Our 2020 Remote Work Report confirms that this isn't remote work in the traditional sense. This is working remotely in a global pandemic. Read more about the findings from HubSpot's 2020 Remote Work Report at the link below.
