    Montclair State grad benefits from trend in sustainability jobs

    CLOSE By now, people are familiar with companies trying to reduce their carbon footprint. But newly minted Montclair State University graduate Alexander Tselepis was just hired by a New Jersey furniture manufacturer to tackle the latest trend in sustainability - expanding a company's handprint.

  • Humanscale was recognized in New Jersey's annual Recycling Awards as a leader in the business category! We introduced major environmental initiatives at our Piscataway manufacturing facility such as an advanced rainwater capture and reuse system for all production, an improved waste diversion program and one of the state's largest solar panel installations.

  • Raising the bar for sustainable design, Humanscale was awarded 3 new sustainability honors from the Business Intelligence Group! The organization commended the major improvements made to our Piscataway manufacturing facility, such as implementing one of New Jersey's largest solar panel installations, in order to meet the rigorous criteria established for Living Product Challenge Certification.
