As a leader, the Nursing Supervisor oversees facets of all units. This person reviews the schedule throughout the day to ensure that nursing staff are dispersed properly throughout the units to best serve patients. Additionally, the supervisor offers a listening ear to help patients or families that have any concerns regarding their stay at Memorial. While the nursing supervisor does not provide direct patient care, he or she is still very involved with patient care through making rounds, visiting patients, addressing concerns and partnering with floor nurses. This position is ideal for a nurse with at least three years of inpatient experience that is ready to step into a leadership role.
