PSA’s Director of Communications and Development, Jean Holloway, represented Ohio District 10 on September 25th at Washington, D.C. She spoke on issues including supporting palliative care legislation and passing the new budget, which gives a $2 billion increase to lifesaving cancer research funding through the National Institutes of Health. We are a proud supporter of the American Cancer Society. PSA President Dion Flannery attended the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Dayton, Ohio Real Men Wear Pink Launch Party. As part of PSA's fundraising efforts to support the ACS mission to end Breast Cancer, Dion has personally committed to raising at least $2,500 in donations.
PSA team members attended the Ohio Diversity Council Multicultural Leadership Roundtable hosted at Sinclair Community College. It was an inspiring day of learning and interacting with many diverse leaders in our community. PSA's Manager of Development and Engagement Mary Butts was a featured speaker!
