Follow up on Nepal. Paper Source has donated $18,000 between our three partners in Nepal – Giftsland and Tudi Billo (lokta paper makers), and Hatale (maker of pom pom necklace and pom holiday garlands). We have already seen pictures from Prasana, owner of Giftsland, using these monies to provide mattresses, corrugated metal for makeshift roofs, and food. It is incredible to see the positive spirit and resilience of his team, amidst the destruction. Thank you all for your support of this initiative
For many years, Paper Source has had a very close relationship with Nepal. Our beautiful Lokta papers all come from.With the recent devestation of the earthquakes, we are thinking of our Nepalese partners.
