This week marks International Women's Day, a day when we celebrate the achievements and resilience of women worldwide. We've chosen to honor it once again by showcasing the remarkable stories of the women in Argus Cyber Security Ltd. We've been inspired by tales of determination, like that of a woman who moved from India to the US to pursue a successful career before prioritizing marriage. We've marveled at the soul-nourishing hobby of photography and learned valuable lessons on fostering great ideas. We've gained insight into the challenges faced by a mother, whose partner serve in the reserves, navigating life's responsibilities solo for months during an ongoing war.

This week at Argus, we were honored to have the extraordinary Michael Alroy 🏳️⚧️ as our guest speaker for a special lecture in celebration of Pride Month. He delivered a captivating lecture titled "Life Begins Where Fear Ends". In his lecture, Michael skillfully shared his fascinating journey, starting from his childhood in South Africa, progressing through a religious school for girls, military service, studies, the transformative experience of undergoing hormone therapy and surgery, his time on "Big Brother" show and many other personal stories. Throughout the lecture, we experienced a rollercoaster of emotions as Michael spoke in flawless English, with a perfect blend of grace, emotion, eloquence, and humor. We laughed and cried as we immersed ourselves in his story. Most importantly, we couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and admiration for the remarkable path he has taken and the incredible person he has become.
One of the more significant developments in vehicle architectures in recent years is the emergence of automotive Ethernet networks (alongside traditional CAN bus networks). Beyond changing vehicle architectures, automotive Ethernet is also shaking up the way OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers think about in-vehicle security. To protect Ethernet in-vehicle networks and ECUs from growing cyber threats and to comply with new industry regulations, many automakers have elected to deploy intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS). Let’s explore the reasons behind the transition to Ethernet networks and its implications for automotive security design, as well as reviewing best practices for implementing IDPS within a vehicle network. At Argus Cyber Security Ltd. we are very passionate about vehicles, no matter how big or small. 😀 That's why we were thrilled to kick off our collaboration with the "Go Baby Go" association. Our goal was to build 8 customized toy vehicles for children with disabilities. These special vehicles will not only enable the children to move around more freely, but also boost their social engagement and emotional well-being. We are grateful to all of our amazing volunteers who dedicated their time and skills to make it happen. 💪
