Did you know Rent-A-Center has four additional lines of business (AcceptanceNOW, Home Choice, Get It Now and RAC Franchise)?
Recently, leaders from each brand came together for a day of team building, strategizing …and fun! They prove that although our different brands may be unique from one another, we are all still “one company, one vision and one mission.” #RACOne
Our FSC Women’s Leadership team kicked off the 2018 Women’s Mentoring Circles with an afternoon reception and networking event at the corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.
The reception united mentoring circle mentees with mentors as well as male coworkers and executives as we celebrated the importance of inclusion and our company’s goal of joining forces to champion everything that makes us unique. We look forward to another year (round) of successful mentoring at the FSC.
Vice President of Marketing, Jason Wall, featured in an interview about the “5 Reasons Rent-A-Center Continues to Dominate the Rent-to-Own Segment.” Read more as the interviewer shines the “Franchisor Spotlight” on our value position and how our brand has become “all but synonymous with the rent-to-own industry.”
See what our Executive Vice President, Cathy Skula, has to say about what makes Rent-A-Center the leading concept in the rent-to-own industry.
At Rent-A-Center, we take pride in working with our partners to provide easy access to nutritious food and to empower families striving to live the American dream. That’s why we have supported hunger relief efforts for over 15 years, both locally and nationwide. As a result of our efforts, Rent-A-Center has provided 990,000 meals to families across the US. To learn more about how we helped fight hunger, listen to a short video from our Chief Administrative Officer, Chris Korst. #RACares
Rent-A-Center's continued partnership with Junior Achievement of Dallas goes hand-in-hand with our support of youth services and educational advancement.
Last week, our coworkers volunteered at Junior Achievement’s BizTown. With this program, we were able to empower students to apply financial lessons learned in school to real world experiences.
Thank you to all RAC coworkers who volunteered in support of our community efforts! We appreciate your dedication to our future business leaders of tomorrow!
Encouraging inclusiveness and open communication in our workplace, Rent-A-Center’s CEO Mitch Fadel launched “Taco Tuesdays with Mitch,” a breakfast meeting open to all coworkers at our corporate headquarters. On February 13, the first diverse group of coworkers joined Mitch for breakfast tacos and a roundtable discussion about RAC’s challenges and opportunities. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQNjE
Rent-A-Center believes investing in our coworkers allows you to achieve greater professional goals. In August, our DM Academy provided District Managers the tools to ENGAGE, EQUIP and EMPOWER them for success. The three-day conference brought together District Managers from all lines of business, where they networked, heard from FSC Senior Leadership, and learned together in breakout sessions and workshops.
APRO has welcomed Rent-A-Center’s own Cathy Skula to their Board of Directors! Cathy is our SVP of Franchising and has been with Rent-A-Center for over 20 years. Congrats Cathy!
We are #TexasStrong! With the Rent-A-Center corporate office located in Plano, TX, our coworkers are eager to help those who have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey. We have started a clothing and food drive to support evacuees in Dallas and Houston-area shelters.
