The upgrades we made to our Boston office are a hit - Associates are enjoying using the updated collaborative work spaces where they can join together to spark delight for our Members and each other! Take a peek at some of our Boston teams working to innovate together in the photos below.
Four of RGG's incredible women Associates joined Project Glimmer for their Empower Hour panel earlier this month, where they all shared their experiences working in the retail and fashion industry with a group of aspiring young women. We are so proud of panelists, Brooke Meister, Divisional Brand Manager, Rachel Appelbaum, Associate Buyer, Tara Stabile, Director, Planning, and Kristen Mui, Senior Planner, for sharing their career knowledge with the high-school-aged participants, along with Caitlyn Clausen, Human Resources Partner, for helping organize the event with Project Glimmer! Empowered women empower women!
RGG's very own Rebecca Lockard, Growth Marketing Manager, sat down with Built In Boston to join the discussion around meaningful hybrid work. Rebecca noted of our new working model, "The hybrid policy has made me more intentional with my time and empowered me to be more present while I’m in the office with my teammates." Happy International Women's Day! The theme of International Women’s Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. This year’s theme challenges us to break the bias by working toward a more gender equal world - one that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, where difference is valued and celebrated. In celebration of International Women’s Day today, RGG brought together 9 of our remarkable women leaders to lead virtual group conversations about how we can collectively break the bias at work, at home, and in our communities. Many of the 100 attendees wore purple, the official color of International Women’s Day, and one of RGG’s incredible women leaders, Nicole Zussman, Chief People Officer, moderated the #empowering event. Read a quote from Nicole today's inspiring event and view a photo from 2020 of our last in-person International Women's Day event!

Read what Rue Gilt Groupe's Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dante Cunningham, had to say about Black History Month and his inspirational figures below: Q: What does Black History Month mean to you and how do you celebrate it? A: To me, Black History Month is a celebration of African American contributions to society, an honoring of our ancestors, and a commitment to improving equality and achieving equity. I don’t do anything specific during BHM – instead I try to be consistent throughout the year when it comes to supporting Black businesses and increasing my knowledge of African American history. Q: Which Black public figure has been your biggest inspiration and why? A: Historically – I’d say Fredrick Douglass for all the obvious reasons, but one particular thing I really appreciate was his interaction with Daniel O’Connell, it was such an organic representation of Allyship. Today – I’d say Shawn “J-Z” Carter; I think his ascension from music to the respect he’s garnered in business is truly inspiring.
