Company Updates

  • Our most recent #SenecaSpotlight is Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) Devina Brooks. In her own words, Devina describes her work: “As a BIS with Seneca, I provide behavior consult and trainings to school staff, complete Functional Behavior Assessments, create Behavior Intervention Plans, facilitate social skills groups, and participate in team meetings for former and current students. I enjoy working with students in this capacity because I have the opportunity to provide a new lens into student behavior and creative ways to teach both the student and school officials how to address and meet behavioral, socio emotional and academic needs of students in an individualized manner.” Sound like something you would be amazing at? • We are thrilled to announce that all the materials needed for our yoga program have been received! These yoga classes will not only assist in developing tools for stress management and self-awareness, but also help us nurture the mental and physical health of our students at Catalyst Academy.

  • Our latest #SenecaSpotlight is a Student Support Assistant at Achieve Academy named Maddie Saveliff, who recently helped make one of her student's wishes come true. Maddie emailed her student's favorite author, Wiley Blevins to see if he could send a special birthday message. Not only did Mr. Blevins send a video wishing Happy Birthday, but also shared a little about his home in New York City, as he stood in the bustling streets of Times Square. Blevins also plans to send more of his books to Achieve for students to enjoy. Maddie, your dedication and effort in supporting our students is inspiring.

  • A former employee wanted to do something special for a Seneca family this holiday season. With the help of the kids in her youth group they sponsored two families, donating gifts for each child.

  • Our latest Seneca Spotlight comes from Special Education Teachers Danee Black and Brian Lim: “One distinct memory of joy that we shared was Seneca’s Prom Beneath the Stars. It was amazing to provide Seneca students with the opportunity to experience fine dining on a cruise ship. The most exciting moment was seeing how happy the students were when they saw themselves all glammed up in their dresses and tuxedos. A formerly troublesome student saw himself and replied, ‘I wish my mom could see me.’ This was one of many moments that that exemplifies that what we do is not hard work, it’s heart work.” We currently have Special Education career opportunities available - apply today! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQLR2
