Today we released our 21st annual Global Enviormental & Social Impact (GESI) report showing our progress for the 2022 fiscal year. This report showcases our investments in partners, caring for our communities and the planet, and advancing equality and inclusion.
Creating a culture of warmth and belonging for our partners (employees) and communities is at the heart of our company, and our Starbucks Partner Networks help bring this to life. Partner Networks bring together partners with shared interests, identities, and experiences to foster inclusion and create connection. This April, Starbucks and our Partners for Sustainability Partner Network are proud to support Puget Soundkeeper, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the waters of Puget Sound for the health of our aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them. Partners for Sustainability volunteers with Puget Soundkeeper and many other organizations across the nation this month and throughout the year.
As part of Starbucks continued commitment to Inclusion and Diversity, we’re excited to share an update on our Community Resilience Fund investment. To-date, we’ve allocated $37 million towards our $100 million goal and are humbled by the remarkable journeys of every individual who has been impacted by the program. The Fund directly supports small businesses and local nonprofits in communities with historically limited access to capital, and remains on track to meet our 2025 goal.
Our newest coffee ritual, Oleato™, has arrived in select U.S. stores. We can't wait for you to try it. Available now in Seattle, Los Angeles, Starbucks Reserve® and Roastery locations.

Today we announced that Laxman Narasimhan has assumed the role of chief executive officer for Starbucks. Over the past five months, he has embarked on a unique immersion experience, traveling to work with partners (employees) in over 30 stores, manufacturing plants and in support centers around the world, earning his barista certification along the way. He is excited to work alongside our partners to unlock the limitless future of Starbucks.
