Congratulations to the Genie – a Terex brand Changzhou team team, celebrating the 100,000th unit off the #Changzhou production line. What an impressive milestone in the team’s 11-year manufacturing journey!

Farewell to two of our respected Terex Coalville team members—Ian Boast and Paul Bingham—both of whom retired after clocking up more than 25 years with Terex. Ian Boast, Chief Engineer, Crushers at Coalville started in October 1993 with BL – Pegson and since then, has become an integral part of Pegson/Powerscreen’s success, responsible for such products as the Maxtrack and Premiertrack ranges. Paul Bingham, Machinist, retired after completing 25 years employment with Terex. Paul started in May 1996, and during his tenure has been very active in the business, being very skilled in machining and an expert in operating much of the equipment at Terex Coalville. In addition to his more ‘normal’ work duties, Paul was also a Union Convenor and First Aid representative, always helping and supporting others. Congratulations to Ian and Paul on such an incredible service to Terex!

Meet three of our newest team members — João Vaz, Zenival (Gino) Páscoa, and Julião Xavier—originally from East Timor and now working at the home of Powerscreen, in Terex Dungannon. They took part in a podcast with Talal Jomar, Sales Administrator to share their experiences on moving from East Timor to Northern Ireland and their recent employment at Terex. Thank you to João, Gino and Julião for sharing your experiences and well done to the team at Terex Dungannon for mentoring, training and most importantly, making our new East Timorese recruits feel part of our team. #TeamTerex

EvoQuip, our compact crushing and screening brand is celebrating five successful years in business! Launched in 2016 to bring a simplified range of equipment to the crushing and screening industry, EvoQuip has grown from strength to strength to become one of the top three compact crushing and screening brands in the world.

Congratulations to Team Member Hugh Brennan, Technical Support Manager at Terex Dungannon who took up the challenge of a ‘Virtual Race Round Ireland’, cycling 2,080kms in only 23 days to help raise £13,500 for four Northern Irish charities— Prostate Cancer Research at Queen's University Belfast, Life & Time, Southern Area Hospice and Killowen Fundraising Group. What made Hugh’s challenge even tougher was completing it during a month of unusually high (and relentless) temperatures in Northern Ireland! Thank you, Hugh, for demonstrating the #TerexWayvalue of Citizenship!

Our Terex Campsie facility reaches another milestone having manufactured its 200th machine since opening. The TDS 825 Slow Speed Shredder is destined for the USA! Congratulations to our Terex Ecotec team on reaching this BIG milestone!

Rental magazine has named Genie micro scissors a 2021 Editor’s Choice Award Winner in the “Lifts” category. The winners are determined by audience engagement on the ForConstructionPros.com/Rental website, as well as innovation and utility for the rental market. The new Genie GS-1432m and GS-1932m micro scissors were purposefully designed to meet the growing need for productive machines that can work in space-restricted and low floor loading applications. These compact, lightweight machines also are designed to deliver high reliability, low maintenance and lower total cost of ownership. Congratulations to the #Genie team on this recognition!

Meet some of our Terex Cranes Team Members, Daniela Fattori, Erika Orioli, Maria Sonis and Sabina Piroddi, who are using their skills and expertise to support the development of the latest technological advancements in the cranes industry.

Check out the Genie SX-150 telescopic boom lifts playing a key role in the construction of the Mohembo Bridge in Botswana - . This bridge, which has unique design features meant to look like crossed elephant tusks, is an important project for transportation to and from ports in neighboring countries, as well as tourism. Based in Midrand, South Africa, Goscor Access Solutions (GAS) supplied the construction site manager with several Genie® boom lifts, including two Genie SX™-150 super booms, proving the ability to work at extreme heights.

Congratulations to Marco Piovano who will lead Materials Processing’s new Digital Solutions business unit. Marco and the team will develop and enhance our digital capabilities, ensuring that our channel partners and end-users are getting world-class service when using our machines. Marco joined Terex in February 2019 as global lead for the Connected Dealer Inventory programme and since then, has driven the design and implementation of new digital solutions for Parts & Service.
