Employee Spotlight: Emmanuelle Thiney, Manager, Executive Programmes in Brussels, Belgium shares about her role at The Conference Board. What does your typical day look like? Now that we’re in meeting season, a typical day includes reviewing last minute changes, member attendance, and meeting details with the Council Director to ensure we’re ready for the council meeting. I correspond with members about the council meeting, benchmark surveys, research from The Conference Board, or the Community Page. As point person for communities in Europe, I also answer questions from other Council Managers and Council Directors. What makes The Conference Board special? I appreciate the work/life balance. We worked from home a lot more during the pandemic and we’re no longer limited to 6 days per month now. It’s truly remarkable how much we can accomplish while maintaining a healthy work/life balance coupled with the support of the global Council Services team. I also enjoy the international atmosphere of the Brussels office where employees have over 20 different nationalities!
