The U.S. Ambassador to Morocco and the U.S. Consul General in Casablanca held the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Consulate General campus in Casablanca, Morocco. The project is projected to employ an estimated workforce of over 500 Moroccan, U.S., and third-country nationals with an expected $100 million investment in the local economy. The new Consulate General is anticipated to be completed in 2024 and will provide a secure and resilient platform for U.S. diplomacy in Morocco.
