  • In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Heartland Behavioral Health Services, located in Nevada, Missouri, placed blue and silver pinwheels on their front lawn. The pinwheels serve as the national symbol to raise awareness for child abuse prevention.

  • Last week, Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center celebrated its grand opening with a Community Open House at the facility in Oakland Park, Florida. Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a new 182-bed behavioral health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment. The facility, which is now the largest behavioral health facility in the region, replaces Fort Lauderdale Hospital, which served the community with superior care for the last 25 years.

  • This week, employees at Palmdale Regional Medical Center assembled and donated more than 400 Easter baskets to Antelope Valley Partners for Health (AVPH)! Hospital employees worked with American Medical Response staff to transport the baskets to AVPH, where they will be distributed to children in need throughout the community.
