SAUSALITO, Calif. – (March 27, 2013) – Today, Glassdoor, the social jobs and career community, is introducing the Employer Center, an easy-to-use self-service tool currently in beta that helps companies make social recruiting decisions based on job seeker activity and authentic workplace insights. With the Employer Center, companies can get access to information about job seeker engagement and demographics, understand what jobs attract the most candidates and when, track employee satisfaction ratings trends, and benchmark their brand’s reputation against competitors. No other jobs site or professional network combines this level of employee feedback and job seeker activity to help companies make more informed recruiting decisions.
Glassdoor is also announcing added benefits of a free employer account, a resource available to all employers. When company representatives¹ register for a free employer account, they will have the ability to:
- Update their company profile with basic information (e.g., website address, headquarters, employee count, year founded and more)
- Add a company description and mission statement
- Include awards and photos
- Respond to their company reviews and interview reviews
- Request updates to their stock ticker, CEO and list of competitors
- Flag reviews that may be inappropriate
In addition, all companies with a free employer account can see basic audience information within the Employer Center e.g., profile activity among job seekers as well as interests and demographics of job seekers. The Employer Center is accessible direct from a company’s profile page on Glassdoor and can be viewed at any time of day and from anywhere in the world.
