As we enter a culture-first decade, it’s only appropriate that the #1 Best Place to Work winner is a culture carrier with unlimited PTO, empowering leadership, and smart, supportive colleagues. Uplifting values like being humble, empathetic, adaptable, remarkable and transparent, HubSpot is a fast-growing software company based in Massachusetts, and now a #1 Best Place to Work. Congratulations to HubSpot!

Being named the winner of Glassdoor’s 12th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work in 2020 across the U.S. is no small feat, as 2020 is the most competitive year-to-date, with more eligible companies than ever, showcasing how many employers are prioritizing culture in their workplaces today. However, HubSpot beat out big-name multinational businesses by firmly investing employee engagement all while expanding globally with offices in 8 countries and a growing remote workforce.

“We’re truly humbled to be named the #1 Best Place to Work on Glassdoor. I had to pinch myself a few times when we first heard the news,” says Katie Burke, HubSpot’s Chief People Officer. “It is a cause for celebration, but it’s also a reminder that company culture is never done. There’s always more we can be doing to be #1 to our employees.”

While HubSpot took the top spot, Glassdoor has recognized a total of 100 companies in our 2020 Best Places to Work list for U.S. Large Employers (defined as more than 1,000 employees). Beyond that, we’ve also compiled Best Places to Work Lists for U.S. Small & Medium Companies (fewer than 1,000 employees), as well as awards across  Canada, UK, France, Germany — and new this year — Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Singapore

“This year’s winners stand out for promoting transparency with employees, offering career growth opportunities and providing work driven by impact and purpose,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president, chief operating officer and incoming chief executive officer. “Congratulations go to all of the exceptional employers this year who stand out in the eyes of their employees.”
