Over the past year, working professionals have been leaving their jobs for better opportunities, resisting “return to office” directives, and pushing for improvements from their employers — such as more flexibility on where and when to work, more communication with team members, improved work-life balance, and a heightened focus on decreasing burnout.

The continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the push for remote work have changed the dynamic of the work world — perhaps permanently. Despite the turmoil, turnovers, and challenges, some companies are doing it right, according to their employees. Glassdoor is proud to announce Google as Canada's top company to work for in 2023!

Glassdoor’s 25 Best Places to Work in Canada 2023 list features winning employers across a range of industries, including technology, finance, consulting, telecommunications, insurance, and more. Many companies made our '23 list in part due to work-life balance, career growth opportunities, and flexible work schedules. Of the top 10 companies, six were on last year’s best places to work list.

For more than a decade, we’ve taken great pride in honoring companies that employees love working for — and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
