Keeping employees healthy and happy is important to most businesses – and some companies are going one step further to ensure their employees’ well being is a priority. Some companies are setting an example for better health care benefits by offering an on-site clinic.
The National Association of Worksite Health Centers defines an onsite clinic as more than one medical and wellness services being offered onsite, delivered by licensed providers, to all or a designated portion of its workforce.
While some companies offer occupational health clinics to treat minor injuries, others are offering full primary care – and employees who work at companies with such on-site clinics seem to really appreciate the resources.
