“Hi from Hilton Supply Management (HSM) HQ in McLean, Virginia! My name is Sarah and I’m a Senior Analyst for HSM’s Special Projects team. My work’s focus is currently all about the “HSM 2.0” transformation. In a nutshell, 2.0 means HSM is more committed than ever to strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, super charging our supplier partnerships and aggressively supporting our management and brand teams. Everyday looks a little bit different depending on what’s hot…from creating presentations for our leadership team to ensuring our Supplier Diversity program gets maximum visibility, I’ve got my hands full! And when I’m not working, you can find me practicing or teaching yoga. Just recently, I had the opportunity to channel my @Thrive vibes and go on a week-long yoga retreat in the jungles of Costa Rica.” –Sarah S.
“Our meeting officially kicked off with a champagne toast from our fearless leader Katie Fallon. To celebrate our team’s biggest successes in 2017, she gave out fun and creative awards such as the "Superhero Award," which went to the Corporate Responsibility team for impacting youth around the world (hence the capes). Our night ended with a delicious dinner and a dragon dance celebrating Chinese New Year.”

I not only have the pleasure of recruiting locally but get to travel across the country to college campuses to hire the best possible talent for our Hilton family! I love my job because of all the wonderful people I get to meet and work with. My day may look a little different than yours today and that’s because it’s not just Tuesday in New Orleans. Today we celebrated Mardi Gras with king cakes, beads, parades, and lots of fun!! As us New Orleanians would say “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler! Let the Good Times Roll!” —Katelyn
