“It’s time to move in a new direction,” says Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. After a series of bumps in the road, the rideshare company has released a series of ads as a part of their ‘Moving Forward’ campaign to assure both customers and job seekers that Uber is on a new path of improvement and innovation.
From changing the leadership team to doubling down on improving company culture, Khosrowshahi has spent the first nine months of his tenure at Uber “listening to riders and drivers” while instituting a new set of company values that put people first, instead of profits.
“My priority has been to listen to you,” says Khosrowshahi in the video. “I’ve seen a lot of good, but moving forward it is time to move in a new direction. This begins with new leadership and new culture. One of our values as a company is to always do the right thing.”
Uber’s new direction signals a turning of the tide and one that is best complemented with new, energized employees. Luckily, Uber is hiring for over 1,000 roles on Glassdoor. From marketing managers to engineers, product managers to analysts, Uber is looking for top talent who believe in their mission and are eager to help write Uber’s next chapter.
