For college students embarking on their first job search, the process can be confusing and intimidating. That’s why we are excited to announce we are partnering with one of the largest undergraduate business schools in the United States to bring Glassdoor into the classroom and help more college students get hired upon graduating.
Starting Fall 2014, students in the University of Central Florida’s College of Business Administration will be required to learn about Glassdoor and how they can easily leverage the site for free to search and find the latest jobs, and research companies, salaries, interviews, benefits and more, entirely based on reviews and ratings shared by current and former employees.
This partnership signifies the first time Glassdoor will be incorporated into higher education curriculum, underscoring the value of empowering college students with information to make more informed career decisions, starting at the very beginning of their careers. Glassdoor’s mission is to help people everywhere find jobs and companies they love, and this certainly extends to current college students and recent college graduates entering the workforce.
Undergraduate students in the UCF College of Business Administration are required to take four, one-credit classes in the school’s Career Professionalism series, designed to prepare students with the skills and knowledge to job search efficiently and get hired after graduation. As part of the class curriculum, students will be required to view and learn from a custom Glassdoor tutorial video, shown here:
Glassdoor currently partners with more than 1,000 colleges and universities to give students free and easy access to all content on Glassdoor.
