What You’d Do
This position, based out of Glassdoor’s stunning new Chicago office, will lead the growth and success of Glassdoor’s SMB sales teams to drive customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction. Among other things, this will involve collaborating with other leaders to develop strategy and execution; establishing and evaluating KPIs, and communicating the results to senior leadership; disseminating plans of action to the entire SMB org; and ensuring that the team continually hones their skills and wins big.
What We’re Looking for
We’re looking for three main things:
- Operational excellence in SMB sales. You are deeply familiar with new business acquisition as well as retention and renewal; high volume, transactional selling; self-serve assisted selling; and collaborating with marketing and demand generation teams to drive sales. You know how to build, scale and optimize teams and processes — and you have the track record to prove it.
- Experience leading large teams. You’ve spent 8+ years in a leadership role, with 15+ years of experience total (preferably in Media/SaaS/B2B technology solutions). You’ve managed groups of at least 50 people — even better if it’s 100 or more. You’ve worked closely with executive teams, and are comfortable delivering reports, presentations and strategic recommendations to them.
- A culture driver and role model. You embody grit and determination. You operate at the highest ethical standards. You engender respect, and inspire others to follow you. You care about your teams, and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
