Do you have a pet friendly workplace? Perhaps you’re willing to make an exception for National Bring Your Pet to Work day? Either way, Glassdoor wants your office to be recognized for it’s "pawsome" workplace attributes.
On Friday, June 24, 2016, we encourage you to have employees embrace Bring Your Pet to Work Day and take a few photos for your Glassdoor profile. You could win some dog-friendly office treats or even potentially assist in breaking a world record, all the while benefitting from the joys of having some four legged friends around the office for the day.

Why bring your pet to work?
Studies have shown that employees who bring their pets to work tend to have a lower stress level by the end of the day, and that having pets can help reduce blood pressure, decrease loneliness, help to lower cholesterol levels and encourage physical activity.[i] For 18 years, Purina has recognized the benefits of allowing employees to bring their pets to work and launched a new “Pets at Work” initiative in 2012 with the goal of educating and helping other employers and facility managers adopt pet-friendly policies.
Let’s break the record!
On June 24 in honor of National Take Your Dog to Work Day, Purina along with Glassdoor, Petco, The Onion, The Nerdery, Petplan Insurance and Outward Hound will attempt to break the world record for Most Pets in the Workplace in one day. Purina first set this record in 2015 when Purina associates brought 281 pets to the company’s headquarters in St. Louis on one day, and hopes to break the current record this year with other companies that share the same passion for bringing their pets to work. So don’t be shy! Participate in this Purina event by bringing your pet to work, and document the big day by posting photos to your Glassdoor profile!
