Introducing Company Updates: A New Social Recruiting Feature

Today, Glassdoor is proud to introduce another FREE tool, which makes it easier for employers to share real-time social messages with job seekers who follow them on Glassdoor. Company Updates, in beta to select employers prior today, is proving to be a valuable social recruiting tool for companies such as Salesforce, Groupon, Nestle Purina PetCare, Progressive Insurance and The Home Depot.

How to use Glassdoor Company Updates

The Company Updates feature is now available to any employer with a Glassdoor Free Employer Account, and if you have one already, simply log in, visit your employer center, click updates, and begin sharing social messages with your audience on Glassdoor.

Add to Employer Branding Efforts

More than 2,500 company updates have already been shared already and early results indicate sharing real-time updates increases followers and time spent on your Glassdoor profile. For example, Nestle Purina PetCare, a Glassdoor client, has been trying out the Company Updates feature in beta form and shares:

To find out how effective each of your company updates are, visit your employer center, click on updates and analytics. Here you’re able to track impressions, engagement and followers acquired by each post; you can also find out which companies your followers have their eyes on, aside from your own.
