Glassdoor Announces Top CEOs for 2018 — Did Yours Make the List?

You already know that having a great CEO is critical for business, but you may not realize how much of an impact it can have on your talent acquisition efforts. Glassdoor research found that the quality of senior leadership is the second leading factor in employee satisfaction, which in turn influences your Glassdoor reviews, referrals and overall perception of your employer brand. So which leaders today are doing the best job of engaging, motivating and uplifting their teams?

Today, Glassdoor recognizes a number of superb executives through our annual Employees’ Choice Awards, honoring the Top CEOs in 2018 with lists for U.S. large (1,000+ employees), U.S. small and medium (fewer than 1,000 employees), Canadian, UK, French and German employers*.

Coming in at number one on the U.S. large employers list is Eric S. Yuan of Zoom Video Communications, with an employee approval rating of 99 percent. This is the first time Yuan has secured the number one spot, and the first year that Zoom has crossed the threshold from the U.S. small and medium list to the U.S. large list. Employees rave about the mission-driven culture that Yuan has fostered, as well as his transparent communication and focus on professional development, collaboration and employee well-being.

“This is our employees’ achievement because this is about our company; it’s not just my company,” Yuan said in a recent interview with Glassdoor.
