We are looking for results-oriented relationship builders to join our team and continue our rapid pace of customer growth. This person will represent Grand Rounds to key Mid-market customers (up to 5,000 employees) and thus will embody the Grand Rounds real passion for saving lives through better healthcare quality.

The Account Manager is responsible for the success of his/her customer relationships. The specific AM responsibilities include the following:

Customer Relationships:

    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for employer customers, focusing on customer health, revenue retention and revenue expansion opportunities
    • Ensure that Grand Rounds and the Customer have a documented shared definition of success
    • Actively mitigate customer risks
    • Collaborate with other vendors in customers’ benefits ecosystem, to ensure that our programs are coordinated to optimize the member experience and the customer investment
    • Facilitate conversations to continually update customers on Grand Rounds products and services

Account Performance:

    • Partner with internal teams to deliver and execute a robust engagement strategy
    • Drive utilization and ROI across Grand Rounds services to meet customer expectations and contractual commitments
    • Deliver regular customer reports on member engagement, utilization, clinical impact and ROI
    • Deliver gross margin in the goal range
    • Own customer renewals and revenue retention

Internal - Contributions to Grand Rounds:

    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify innovations to better serve Grand Rounds customers and patients
    • Contribute to product roadmap planning, providing an important customer and patient voice
    • Build broad customer referenceability to help grow our customer base


    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in account management of HR / Benefits / Healthcare with employers or other mid-market groups
    • Experience in employee benefits or healthcare required
    • Excellent track record of exceeding customer expectations
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong results-orientation
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-growing organization
    • Entrepreneurial core; ability to innovate, think creatively, and solve complex problems
    • Passion for the Grand Rounds product suite; belief that these platforms are transforming how we access and utilize healthcare
    • Willingness to travel (estimated 20%)
