We are looking for a part time art studio assistant!

Little House is a super fun community art studio. We are looking for folks who are creative, organized, warm, and welcoming. Most of this job is hosting people in our studio and making them feel inspired and comfortable, answering questions, helping them get the right materials and tools for projects, and being knowledgeable about how to use the things around the studio. We work with clay, make jewelry, paint ceramics, canvases, wood projects and build terrariums.

Part of the job is also organizing and caring for tools, cleaning up and making the studio inviting, helping with inventory, contacting folks to pick up projects, plant care, and more.

You don't need to be a super experienced artist, though a love for DIY, projects, and art is wonderful- the most important factor is finding someone who enjoys helping others, and encouraging and engaging people of all ages to enjoy creating.

If you have experience teaching jewelry making, fiber art, ceramics, etc there are additional teaching opportunities at a higher hourly wage.

You must be reliable and responsible, able to pass a child security/background check, and whether you bike, bus, or drive - have a way to make it to all shifts on time.
