We are seeking new teammates with specific experience as a senior-level consultant leading the innovation or brand strategy process for major brands.
This position requires a deep understanding of how people build their emotional connections with brands today. Our Directors work to find their own inspiration, and this position requires you to create and execute a wide range of consumer collaboration and research.
This position also requires a deep understanding of how functional product attributes, packaging, design and user experience all bring joy into people’s lives. You have to love being able to turn minor points-of-difference into the center of actionable strategies.
You must be fluent in creating Innovation Platforms, new product concepts and product positioning concepts. We’ll be anxious to hear about the in-market brands and products that you’ve helped to create or re-position. We place a high priority on building our client’s ideas into marketplace successes and we need to see that you do, too.
The ability to leverage technology to spark insights and ideas is a major driver of our growth. We arm our Directors with industry-leading tech platforms and you’ll need to quickly prove your ability to use them to your client’s advantage.
We are specifically hunting for people with between 10-15 years of smart thinking and proven results on big brands.
First consideration will be given to candidates currently working at other strategy and innovation agencies who are looking to showcase their skills on a higher-profile set
of projects. Creative thinkers still trapped inside larger agencies and consulting firms will also be considered. (We have recently added teammates from the client side. To balance our team, we are not seeking people currently inside client companies.)
The ability to work in a quickly-changing and collaborative environment is key. Our 24-person Chicago team is currently working on 20+ projects. And in our River North loft office, key conversations are usually held on the open couch, not in a closed room. (Note: Whole company is 50+ including offices in Boulder and Vancouver.)
