As enterprises adopt SaaS applications and users go mobile, IT is faced with securing corporate data that resides on third-party servers and travels over third-party networks to mobile devices. Conventional security technologies are not suited to the task as they were developed to secure the corporate network perimeter.

Cloud/Virtual Appliance Engineer

As a cloud/virtual appliance engineer you will take an active role in developing new features at an exciting time at our company. You will a key member of the team to design highly scalable systems software that will power the next generation of cloud based security services.


  • Design and develop product features for an on-premise Linux virtual machine.

  • Participate in the whole product life-cycle;; from design specification to implementation and unit testing, to application benchmarking and troubleshooting

  • Implement periodic updates and maintenance releases to customers

  • Ability to work in fast paced, startup environment, with quick release cycles

  • 3+ years software development experience

  • Proficiency in one or more of C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java.

  • Experience with one major Virtual machine platform (VMware, Xen/Citrix, Openstack) and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GoGrid)

  • Broad Linux OS development and system experience

  • Experience with OS networking (VPN, DNS, TCP), Security and Linux internals

  • Experience in production and customer data center environments

  • Strong analytical capabilities and communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Passionate commitment to world-class engineering quality and productivity

  • A BS/MS degree in computer science or a related technical field.
