We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team! As a Content Writer, you will create copy for thought-leadership pieces, blogs, landing pages, and social media feeds for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and agencies. Responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, matching a client's tone/personality, generating ideas for new content, and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality pieces that appeal to our clients’ audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Research industry-related topics
Write clear marketing copy to promote products/services
Match and convey a client's tone and personality
Proofread and edit copy before submitting for approval
Submit work to editors for input and approval
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Promote content on social media
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Update website content as needed

Skills

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Portfolio of published articles
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web publications
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with WordPress a plus
Experience with creating social images in Canva and using a post scheduler a plus
Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback
