Position Overview

Design Polo Performance, RLX Sportswear, Sport Sponsorships and Special Projects for Men’s & Boys Knits from initial concept, research, development, through line completion and stock production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with Design Lead and Senior Designer to ensure product is designed in accordance with brand aesthetic, performance attributes, quality, sustainable materials within calendar and cost parameters.
Organize information for core and seasonal product, presentation boards, palettes, research, samples.
Create, manage and distribute Adobe XD line sheets for design presentations and global adoptions.
Sketch in Illustrator/Photoshop – flat garment sketches, 2D and 3D CADs, layouts, line sheets, graphics, logos, trims.
Obtain and coordinate information between interdepartmental colleagues to achieve all calendar deadlines and milestones.
Work in PLM systems – managing design images, input design related information on BOMs. Work closely with Product Management Team to ensure product integrity.
Research market, competitors, performance fabrications and attributes.
Attend fittings and work with Technical Design Team.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Degree in Fashion or related field preferred.
Passion Performance, Active, Innovative and Sustainable/Circular Design.
Working Knowledge of PLM Systems
Excellent Computer Skills – Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, 3D Proficiency a plus.
Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills – must be detailed oriented and able to communicate clearly and professionally.
Understanding of garment and fabric construction, preferably of performance knit garments and fabrications.
