Job Description

The Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for business development and managing strategic partnerships with other SaaS software providers within the Human Resources, Sales, Talent Management and Sourcing space. This person will be building, planning and executing on the strategic partnerships for COMPAS from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales-focused business developer with expertise in the Talent Management, Staffing / Recruiting, Human Resources and Payroll & Benefits space. You will need to bring your business development and traditional selling skills to COMPAS to close and manage complex, revenue-focused partner relationships with other software organizations, human resources associations, media publishers and social networks. The ideal candidate excels in a startup environment, with limited direction, and enjoys building a team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and develop strong, long-term client relationships with Senior Executives in key organizations
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships and sales channel strategies to drive revenue across multiple lines of business
  • Identify new product/service solutions for strategic partners and work with appropriate COMPAS staff to develop, market, and sell these new offerings
  • Lead development of proposals to capture business from SaaS providers within the Talent Management and HR industries
  • Collaborate with Marketing efforts to create compelling messaging and collateral that articulates COMPAS’ ability to enhance the effectiveness of the HR function
  • Design and develop a strategic account framework and processes; effectively manage strategic accounts, working to deepen COMPAS relationships and grow account revenue
