"We are an ultra-fast growing brand and direct response online media company (display network) servicing all sectors of the display marketing arena. We are seeking a proven marketing/media professional to manage the development and growth for our online display ad network. Responsibilities include all aspects of network management and growth for all ad campaigns managed by us for our advertising clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of effectively negotiating and closing new relationships while managing, maintaining and growing existing accounts.
� Promote direct response marketing offers to new online publishers to meet monthly revenue goals.
� Prospect and aggressively negotiate performance based media buys with website publishers of all sizes to acquire direct response inventory on a CPA, CPM, and CPC basis.
� Develop online buying and planning strategies and best practices within the company.
� Maintain professional contact and upsell as appropriate.
� Consistently meet or exceed targets.
� Utilize Media research tools and resources along with client objectives to aid in campaign development when making media buys.
� Manage a sales and business development pipeline with quality publishers.
� Track and document all information related to prospective and current publishers utilizing Salesforce.com and provide regular management reports
� Rejuvenate relationships with dormant publishers currently in the system
� Optimize placement and target online media buys.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
� 2+ years of directly related experience in media buying: large agency background or ad network background is a plus.
� Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
� Experience in prospecting and identifying new publishers.
� Experience managing campaigns on CPA, CPC, CPM models.
� Possess a competent understanding of basic media and direct marketing formula and terminology such as CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, CPL, ROI and conversion rates.
� Additional delivery techniques should be understood: Day parting, Geo Targeting, Demographic Targeting, Psychographic Targeting, Contextual Targeting, Behavioral Targeting, Campaign Re-Targeting
� Extensive analytical capabilities in quantifying, reporting and documenting performance metrics and ability to grow and present ROI goal.
