Job Summary: Perform diverse employee relations duties in connection with the Employee Relations Manager and CaroMont’s CARES Culture principles. Handles employee relations issues by being the frontline liaison for staff presenting employee relations concerns. Manage the employee grievances, appeals of termination, ADA request, and unemployment claims. Assist Employee Relations Manager with internal investigations. Handle routine inquires about CaroMont policies, standard HR practices, and state and federal labor laws. Assist Employee Relations Manager with other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university and a minimum of 1 year of experience participating in HR investigations or an Associate’s degree from a recognized college or university and a minimum of 3 years’ experience participating in HR investigations. Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, including but not limited to, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and FLSA. Experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
