PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Enrollment Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Associate VP of Enrollment Management in the day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks of the department. This will include assisting with organizing of schedules, coordinating calendars and meetings, and ensuring a clear and consistent flow of communication within the Enrollment Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle billing, reimbursements, check requests and other budget-related tasks.
Handle and approve time cards for student workers and hourly employees.
Act as main point of contact within department for communication between Prince Building and Visitor’s Center.
Coordinate schedules to ensure proper coverage in Enrollment office spaces.
Other tasks as assigned by AVPEM.

EDUCATION: Preferably bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Ave Maria.

EXPERIENCE: Preference for previous positions that have required organization.

Microsoft Office experience with Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Power Point software experience.

PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Requires ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, type and perform data entry, visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information, ability to hear in order to answer telephones and to communicate verbally, and the ability to sit for extended periods of time. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed indoors with minimal safety hazards, and requires seated, standing, and movement work. (WRITE BASED on conditions for job)
