We are looking for a bright, kind, goal-oriented Forecasting Analyst/Buyer who is energized by a fast-paced environment and passionate about delivering quality to our customers. As the Forecasting Analyst/Buyer, you will work closely with our sales team and buyers regarding forecasting trends and analyzing inventory to help determine proper inventory levels by location. You will also issue purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels to our Finished Goods Suppliers; handle warranty issues with suppliers and brokerage auditing and clearance; and purchase drop-ship items directly from our vendors.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Develop inventory/forecasting reports and work with buyers to determine proper inventory levels, warranty claims to suppliers and customs brokerage and clearance
  • Develop forecasting information for MRP and Suppliers
  • Take responsibility for Sales Operations Planning meetings and reporting trends in all categories
  • Send out warranty credits to all suppliers and manage customs brokerage and auditing
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers based on customer order demand and inventory levels
  • Coordinate suppliers’ production schedules to ensure our customer orders ship on time
  • Handle the purchasing of drop-ship items directly from our vendors
  • Help determine the inventory location for incoming containers – Mesa or Nevada
  • Develop an accurate system for tracking and expediting purchase orders
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
  • Work with Customer Service and Operations on supplier issues
  • Be involved in continuous improvement processes – write and standardize procedures for the department

We’re excited about you because...

  • You have a minimum of two (2) years of forecasting, inventory, supply chain and/or other related experience in the manufacturing industry
  • You have a strong understanding of supply chain management concepts
  • You are quick on your feet and not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • You have a positive attitude and a high sense of urgency
  • You enjoy taking ownership of your work and have a high standard of professionalism
  • You have excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams
  • You are technically proficient in the Microsoft Office software, with advanced knowledge in Excel

  • An Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Previous or current buying experience
  • Previous or current freight import experience
